Co-directed, shot and edited this for Lawn Doctor at the famous Q Division studios in Cambridge Ma. We needed a grand piano on an empty stage and fortunately for us Q Division had one we could use, unfortunately it was inside of a music studio that looks like, well, a music studio. We had only a few hours to transform the studio and shoot 4 of these spots. As soon as we walked in I knew I needed low key lighting to crush the background into darkness to give us that "empty theater" feeling. We recorded the audio live at the studio and I left that night with my raw footage and perfectly mixed audio.
